Meet the face
behind the posts

Hi! I'm Meg. I'm a 40-something Canadian woman who has had the wonderful privilege of traveling the world before landing in small-town New Zealand with my family. I live here with my husband of almost 20 years, who you will often see me refer to affectionately as Moose. We have three wonderful young adult children - Ashlee (19), Jade (17), and Dylan (20).

My day job is as the manager of a local not-for-profit, Volunteer Marlborough. I also volunteer my time baking & delivering for Good Bitches Baking, as a helpline counsellor for Youthline Central South Island, and I sit on the board of trustees for Top of the South Neighbourhood Support

I have a Diploma in Legal Assistance, a Diploma in Library & Information Studies, and I'm one paper away from completing my Bachelor of Library & Information Studies.

Otherwise, I'm an avid book lover...sometimes referred to as a Book Dragon...and an enthusiastic pet mum (2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 fish, and millions of dust bunnies). In my spare time, if I'm not curled up with a book, I can be found illustrating other people's memories or taking a well deserved nap!

Fun facts - I was born in Bermuda and I adore cows!
